How to measure a ring you already have
The most reliable method: use a ring that fits the right finger well and measure the inner diameter.
- Choose a ring you wear comfortably on the finger you want the new piece for.
- Place it on a ruler and measure the inner diameter in millimetres, edge to edge.
- Match the value in the 'Inner diameter' column of the table below.
- If you fall between two sizes, choose the larger one, especially for wide or stone-set rings.
| HOYARA size | Inner diameter (mm) | Circumference (mm) |
|---|---|---|
| 2 | 13,4 | 42,1 |
| 4 | 14,1 | 44,3 |
| 6 | 14,7 | 46,2 |
| 8 | 15,4 | 48,4 |
| 10 | 16,0 | 50,3 |
| 12 | 16,6 | 52,2 |
| 14 | 17,2 | 54,0 |
| 16 | 17,8 | 55,9 |
| 18 | 18,5 | 58,1 |
| 20 | 19,2 | 60,3 |

How to measure your finger
If you don't have a ring to compare, measure your finger with string or a strip of paper.
- Wrap a thin string or strip of paper around the base of your finger, without tightening.
- Mark where the ends meet and measure the length with a ruler, in millimetres.
- That value is the circumference: check the 'Circumference' column in the table above.
Measure at the end of the day, with hands at room temperature. Fingers swell in heat and when you wake up.
